The Christmas tag!

I'm so sorry for the lack of blog posts recently, I honestly have had no time at all and if you have been watching my vlogmas videos you will know that however I have some spare time in a lesson (oops) I haven't had any ideas either so I was scrolling through my blog feed and saw this tag so i decided to do it.

What time of year do you start your Christmas shopping?
I usually start Christmas shopping around October / November time, its hard for me because i don't get much money and there are loads and loads of birthdays around this time of year too.

Do you have any festive recipes for food or drink you limit solely to the Christmas season to share?
Honestly no, but I only usually find Terry's chocolate orange around Christmas time so its kind of limited to Christmas time.

Tell me how Christmas goes down in your home
So basically I like to sleep so my sister or my mum will probably come into my room and wake me up then we will go down stairs and I'm really really dysfunctional in the mornings before I have a cup of tea so I'll make one and sit down and drink it before doing anything. When everyone is together in the lounge we will give nad open presents. After the presents my mum usually goes into the kitchen and starts to prepare dinner, which sometimes I will help with. We then sit down for dinner and eat together. Then after that we all just sit watching Christmas films and maybe go up to my Aunt's house.

Do you have any Christmas traditions?
No not really.

Do you have a favorite festive coffee?My favorite  festive coffee hands down in Costa's gingerbread latte, i love it so much, i think its my favorite coffee of all time.

Do you have a favorite Christmas song?

My favorite Christmas song is "merry Christmas everybody" hands down favorite.

What do you do on Christmas Eve?
We don't really do much on Christmas eve, honestly its just like a normal day, usually a lazy day watching films but there is nothing in particular.

What's your Christmas wrapping strategy? Do you have a strategy?
I really hate wrapping presents I'm so bad at it, I usually leave it all until the day before and then just wrap it however..

What's your dream gift this year?
My dream gift this year was a BMX then instead my mum offered me a camera and also my black vans because I have wanted them for sooooooooooooo long!

Describe your Christmas tree. How tall? Real or artificial? How is it decorated?
My Christmas tree is artificial, i would love to have a real one, maybe when i have my own house. In my opinion its a bit cluttered but I feel like that's just because of the tinsel. We have lots of different kinds of baubles on our tree and the colour scheme is red and gold.

Do you decorate just the tree or other areas of your house e.g. windows, banisters?
We decorate the whole of downstairs, there are lights and the banisters and fireplace have decorations on, there are lights on the windows too. We don't decorate outside though because one year we did and some of the decorations got stolen.

What do you wear to Christmas parties and what do you wear on Christmas day?
I usually dress up for Christmas day or just wear clothes which I have received as gifts. I don't really go to any Christmas parties either so i don't really have an answer for that.

Top 5 songs right now

 I have such a wide range of music taste, I don't have a particular genre that I like it's just kind of like "oh i like that song". I do however like Dance/Electronic music like Avicii and I love Rudimental so much.

My First favorite song is story of my life - One Direction. If you know me you'll know that one direction are my idols and I love their music so much! And I may have already downloaded the leaked version of midnight memories oops.. (If you haven't heard it yet and you're a fan of the boys, you'll love it!)

So if you're British you will have seen the John Lewis advert on TV like a million times already and its only November! I already liked Keane's version of this song so much so this was an automatic favorite for me, i love Lily's version of the song. It also makes me feel all Christmasy, if you haven't seen the advert go and watching it on YouTube because its so sweet !

Since I was little I have always loved Arctic Monkeys and recently I have been listening to this song a lot so I decided to include it, and if you havent heard this song, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!

I love this song so much, its one of my favorite songs, its so chilled out, I am literally in love with their whole album, I remember hearing the song on TV so many times and not knowing what it was called so when I finally found the song i was so excited! 

This post would not have been complete without Avicii. I'm always going back and forth with which song i'm listening to but right now I've been enjoying listening to this one because it reminds me of last spring. But yeah I am basically in love with Avicii, I have a whole playlist dedicated to him and its my go to when 'im bored or just wanting to listen to some music and i'm not sure why but no matter how many times i play his songs i never get irritated by them.
